Paranormal Activity In Old Town Temecula

Palomar Inn Hotel with Thunderbird Totem.

The totem was given to Bob Majeski by an Indian Chief from Washington State

to insure 'good fortune' for him and his family.

The digital pictures were taken in Room 3 of the Palomar Inn Hotel in January 2009.  These sequence of pictures contain what is known as an 'orb'.  In the paranormal community one theory regarding an orb is that it is energy being transferred from some nearby source so that an entity can manifest itself in the form of a sphere or ball.  That is not saying that all images of this type which appear in pictures are orbs.  More often than not these images represent nothing more than reflections of dust, moisture in the air, or insects especially if the picture is taken outdoors where multiple variables exist.

In this instance the variables noted were: 1) windows were closed and the fans were off, 2) humidity was low and the rooms are enclosed, 3) there are no reflections in any of the pictures, 4) the pictures show the same orb in a sequential order, and 5) they appear in different areas of each photo.  When comparing the orb to other fixtures in their picture the orb appears to be roughly the same size in each picture.

In addition to the pictures above, there is EVP (electronic voice phenomena)

recorded in Room 3 at the same time the pictures were taken.  Click on the link above to

listen to these EVPs and others recorded in the Palomar Inn Hotel.

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) are voices detected in electronic devices that cannot currently be explained with known physical principles.  The voices typically constitute short utterances of just a few words, often in direct response to questions or comments about occurrences in the environment. Reports of these voices have involved virtually every known technology that is capable of supporting human voice.  EVP are typically recorded using audio-recording devices or audio-recording computer software.  In their basic form, EVP are not heard at the time they are recorded, but only on playback of the recording.

It is always important to maintain a healthy level of skepticism and factor in any and all variables which will allow a perceived paranormal activity to be 'debunked'.

"Once you've eliminated the possible, whatever remains (however improbable) must be the truth."
